Monday - 5-Week Multi-Style Dance Exploration with Chelsea Freeman
When: Mondays, starting September 15 through October 27 (5 weeks total, no class 10/13 or 10/20)
What:
A dynamic, rotating dance series led by the esteemed performer and instructor Chelsea Freeman, known for her NYC training at The Ailey School and Ballet Hispanico and performances from Madison Square Garden to international stages. This class immerses young dancers in five vibrant styles: Hip Hop, Jazz, Musical Theater, West African, and Trends with Friends where you'll work on the latest trending dance moves. Each week students have the opportunity to explore a new style.
4:30 – 5:30 PM (ages 6–8) Register HERE

Youth Recreational Dance Classes:
Our recreational dance classes are designed for students who are looking to explore the joy of dance in a fun and supportive environment. These classes are ideal for beginners or those who enjoy dancing as a hobby.
Class Duration: 45-60 minutes per class
Focus: Basic dance and movement skills
Styles: Various styles including ballet and contemporary
Environment: Relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere
Goals: To foster a love for dance, improve physical fitness, and provide a creative outlet
At MorDance, we are committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent any child from participating in our dance programs. We believe that every student should have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance, regardless of their financial situation. Families can apply for full or partial scholarships if they face financial hardships. The information provided will be used solely to assess scholarship eligibility, and all personal details will remain confidential.

MorDance After-School Dance Class Protocol
Arrival and Drop Off:
Please buzz MorDance on the front door intercom no earlier than 10 minutes before the scheduled class time.
Proceed to the 6th floor where MorDance is located. Our studio is on this floor.
Parent/Guardian Attendance:
Parents or guardians are welcome to stay for the duration of the class if they wish but we ask you sit quietly in the designated waiting area.
Restrooms:
Restrooms are located on the fifth floor, opposite the elevators. Students and parents may use these facilities as needed.
Class Duration:
Classes will start promptly at the scheduled time. Please ensure that your child arrives on time.
Students must be picked up immediately at the end of the class.
Late Pickup:
If you anticipate being late for pickup, please call MorDance to inform us of your estimated arrival time.
We kindly request that students are picked up promptly to ensure their safety and the smooth operation of our classes.
Attire for Recreational Classes:
We ask that students wear clothes they feel comfortable moving in. Any long hair should be secured neatly out of the face.
Ballet shoes are strongly recommended for participation in class.
Emergency Contact Information and Liability Waiver:
Please ensure that MorDance has up-to-date emergency contact information for your child in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
Parking and Transportation:
Please plan your transportation and parking arrangements accordingly. There may be street parking available nearby, but please be mindful of any parking regulations in the area.
Health and Safety:
If your child is feeling unwell or displaying any symptoms of illness, please refrain from bringing them to class to prevent the spread of illness to other students and instructors.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding drop off, pickup, attire, or any other aspect of our after-school dance classes, please don't hesitate to contact MorDance.
