"[MorDance’s] New York season...was, to put it mildly, a knockout."

Help us raise $75,000 by July 18

to keep MorDance accessible for all.

As MorDance prepares for one of our most beloved events of the year, MorDance in the Park—our free waterfront performance on July 18—we are facing a challenge shared by arts organizations across the country. This year, MorDance has seen approximately $75,000 in public operating support reduced or eliminated.

These operating dollars support the work happening right now: artist compensation, educational programs, scholarships, and free community performances.

Despite these reductions, we remain deeply committed to ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation.

This spring, MorDance was also honored to receive $3 million in New York State capital support to create our permanent home in Dobbs Ferry—a transformational investment in the future of arts and culture in Westchester. However, these funds are restricted exclusively to construction and cannot be used to support programming, performances, or day-to-day operations.

Our goal is to raise $75,000 by July 18, 2026, the date of Dolly in the Park. With your help, we can ensure that this beloved event—and the educational and community programs that surround it—remain accessible to all.

Dance as a Force for Change

We are a trailblazing, women-led ballet company expanding arts access through groundbreaking original works and community outreach.

We use dance to inspire empathy, spark conversation, and equip young people with confidence and creative voice.

MorDance is:

  • A nonprofit, contemporary ballet company redefining the art form for the 21st century.

  • Founded in 2014 by Morgan McEwen, a professional dancer and advocate for artistic agency and inclusion.

  • Committed to access, civic dialogue, and artistic excellence, not just performance for its own sake.

Performances That Matter

Our ballets explore deeply relevant themes of social, environmental, and cultural impact, resonating with the hearts and minds of diverse audiences.
