Bridge the Gap Campaign
Help Keep MorDance Accessible for All
Goal: Raise $75,000 by July 18, 2026
As MorDance prepares for one of our most beloved events of the year, MorDance in the Park—our free waterfront performance on July 18—we are facing a challenge shared by arts organizations across the country. This year, MorDance has seen approximately $75,000 in public operating support reduced or eliminated.
These operating dollars support the work happening right now: artist compensation, educational programs, scholarships, and free community performances.
Despite these reductions, we remain deeply committed to ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation.
This spring, MorDance celebrated a major milestone by securing $3 million in New York State capital funding to create our permanent home in Dobbs Ferry. However, these funds are restricted exclusively to construction and cannot be used to support programming, performances, or day-to-day operations.
Our goal is to raise $75,000 by July 18, 2026, the date of MorDance in the Park. With your help, we can ensure that this beloved event—and the educational and community programs that surround it—remain accessible to all.
